The big story this month: Novo launched its 12-month Wegovy subscription at $249/mo (March 31 announcement). That's the lowest FDA-approved GLP-1 monthly price in history. Meanwhile, compounded pricing was largely unchanged, but new entrants (Sprout, Strut, TMates) are scaling and the sub-$200 tier remains stable.

Announced March 31, 2026. Also available: 6-month at $299/mo, 3-month at $329/mo. Available through Ro, WeightWatchers, LifeMD, and expanding to Hims & Hers and Sesame soon. This is the lowest FDA-approved GLP-1 rate in history.
Eden Health extended $149 first-month promo
Eden's flat-rate pricing ($229–249/mo ongoing) typically includes a $149 first-month discount. As of April, the promo is extended through Q2 2026. Note: this is a first-month price only; recurring price is $229/mo on 3-month plan.
Novo intro offer wind-down coming June 30
The $199/month intro pricing for first 2 months of lowest Wegovy/Ozempic doses expires June 30, 2026. If you're considering this offer, start by May to capture both intro months before the deadline.
What stayed the same
Compounded semaglutide pricing was essentially unchanged across every verified provider this month. The sub-$200 tier (Yucca, MEDVi, Breeze, SHED, Care Bare, Synergy) is remarkably stable — no provider has moved pricing in either direction since February.
This is unusual in a market that had been in flux for 18 months. It suggests providers have found their competitive positions and aren't currently chasing the brand-name price cuts. For now.

What to watch in May 2026
- Oral Wegovy FDA approval decision (expected Q2). If approved, the Wegovy pill at $149–299/mo will compete directly with compounded oral programs.
- Sesame Care + Novo subscription integration. Novo announced Sesame is joining the Wegovy subscription network "soon." When it launches, Sesame Care becomes a direct path to the $249/mo rate.
- Medicare Bridge Program rollout prep. The $50-copay Medicare program begins July 1. May is when qualifying eligibility frameworks get published.
- June 30 intro offer expiration. Novo's $199 intro ends June 30. Expect a final promotional push in May, then normalization at $349 in July.
